Job Description
The AWS Infrastructure Engineer will design and build complete AWS environments to support shipboard applications, then execute a formal knowledge transfer to the internal team. This is a hands-on infrastructure role that requires deep AWS expertise, strong documentation discipline,
and the ability to translate complex technical architecture into practical training for a diverse audience.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of software engineering experience
Experience standing up full AWS environments including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, IAM roles and policies, and supporting services
Experience provision compute, storage, database, and networking resources aligned to shipboard application requirements
Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK to ensure repeatable, version-controlled deployments and integrating AWS services
Configure environment tiers (development, staging, production) with appropriate access controls, logging, and monitoring
