Job Description

Insight Global's client is seeking a Systems Engineer with 4+ years of experience to provide onsite technical support, with a strong emphasis on software configuration, troubleshooting, and application support. This role serves as boots-on-the-ground during deployments, working independently onsite and coordinating with project managers, security teams, vendors, and other stakeholders. The individual must be comfortable managing their own time, adapting to changing plans, and supporting both software and hardware environments, including deployments aboard ships with significant travel requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a systems engineer role, or similar experience.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS administration.
• Strong experience with:
○ Application installation and configuration
○ Software troubleshooting
○ Server and end device support
• Working knowledge of integrated systems such as door locks, RFID readers, CCTV systems, in-room encoders, etc.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
Willing to travel internationally up to 4 weeks at a time.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with hospitality access control vendors such as ASSA ABLOY
