Job Description

• Insight Global is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our client's commercial fire alarm team. This role requires traveling to various customer sites throughout the day to perform a mix of service, maintenance, and installation work. They will be handling routine and emergency service calls, while also troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing malfunction security equipment. While also installing new commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems. The technician will also be responsible for completing all documentation and productivity/task paperwork in a timely manner, while providing customer support. In addition, this role may involve proctoring, coaching, and teaching others as needed.

Pay rate range: $26-35/hour (based on experience)

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of High School Degree/Vocational Training
• Must have/use own vehicle
• 3+ years of experience with fire alarm systems
• NICET Certification Level 1 or 2
• Backflow Certification
• Knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, intercom, control systems, and CCTV
• Knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, decibel meters, and battery analyzers
• Valid driver's license and be able to clear drug and background screening
