Our distribution client is looking for a Databricks Platform Administrator to join their team. The candidate will oversee the management, performance optimization, and maintenance of Databricks environments on AWS. They will use their experience in data engineering, programming, and cloud integration solutions to ensure platform stability, provisioning accounts and conducting performance tuning. Day-to-day they will be integrating Databricks with other AWS services such as AWS Redshift and Glue and resolving any problems or recurring issues. The Platform Administrator will also be using Python and leveraging Spark and Scala to build and run big data applications stored in Amazon S3. The hourly rate is between $58-64/hr.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (ex: computer science, information systems,)
- 3-5+ years of experience in the development of frameworks and integration layer solutions
- Strong proficiency with Databricks
- Well-versed in AWS tools and services such as AWS S3, Console, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and SageMaker
- Extensive experience with Python, Spark, and Scala to manage environments running big data frameworks
- Great communication skills and positive attitude
-AWS Data Engineer or Machine Learning certification
