Transportation Engineering Director

*Salary: $240k*

My client, a reputable provider of engineering services, is looking for a Transportation Engineering Director to join their team here in the Miami area. This person will lead a team of engineers and other professionals to make sure projects are running smoothly, on time, and within budget. They plan and organize different parts of big infrastructure projects, like roads or utility systems, and check in regularly with their team to make sure everyone knows what to do. They also talk to clients, attend meetings, and represent the company in presentations or public hearings. A big part of their job is making sure the work being done meets technical and quality standards. They review designs, suggest improvements, and help solve problems that come up. They also handle paperwork, like contracts and invoices, and make sure the company gets paid for extra work if the scope changes. On top of all that, they help the company grow by looking for new projects, writing proposals, and building strong relationships with clients

- 10+ years of experience as an engineer
- 2+ years of experience in a Director level engineering role
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field
- Registered in Florida as a
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida
- Technical knowledge of limited access facilities including roadway, structures, and tolling systems
