Job Description

PR $28-30 per hour

Insight Global is currently seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to work in the Miami region. This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.

The primary responsibility of this position is to repair and maintain machinery, both electronic and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and other plant and mobile equipment related to our concrete plants and facilities.

Required Skills & Experience

 High school diploma or equivalent
 Related experience and/or training in hydraulic systems, electrical, air conditioning, and pneumatics
 Previous experience doing preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling
 Previous welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment operation experience
 Strong mechanical skills and the ability to problem solve
 Dedication to maintain the highest standard of safety in all aspects of the job

 Must provide own tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair, certification preferred
- Bilingual
