Job Description

As a Manager of Instructional Design for Restaurant Operations, you'll lead the creation and implementation of training programs and materials for restaurant staff, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs. This role will also serve as a bridge between the training team and platform support, advocating for enhancements that improve functionality and user experience including new employee onboarding, operational procedures, and leadership development.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a QSR, restaurant, food service, or hospitality industry setting
- Instructional Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and competency-based training
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration skills with operations leadership and cross-functional teams
- Facilitation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging and effective training programs
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe, and Camtasia
Food Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the food industry and its related processes
