A client of Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engine Technical Project Manager to oversee the seamless transition of engines from lessees and sellers into their fleet. This role involves close collaboration with
customers, maintenance providers, and technical consultants to ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engine maintenance, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities:
Engine Transition Management:
o Coordinate the induction of engines from lessees and sellers into their fleet
o Ensure all technical records, documentation, and compliance requirements are met during transitions
o Oversee the physical inspection and assessment of engines upon receipt
Stakeholder Liaison:
o Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and external parties, including customers, maintenance providers, and technical consultants
o Facilitate clear communication to align expectations and project timelines
Maintenance Oversight:
o Manage third-party maintenance providers to ensure adherence to agreed-upon scopes, budgets, and timelines
o Interface with the client's Maintenance, Repair, and Engineering (MRE) network to coordinate internal resources and capabilities
Project Delivery:
o Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for engine transitions
o Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies
o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Continuous Improvement:
o Analyze completed projects to identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures
o Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in future engine transitions

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engine maintenance, MRO operations, or technical project management within the aviation/engine industry
- Strong understanding of engine maintenance practices and regulatory compliance in regard to acquisitions, lease deliveries, and lease returns of engines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- An understanding of how to read, search, and interpret CFM56-5B & CFM56-7B ESM, AMM, PPBU, MPD, and WPG manuals and guides.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent
- Experience working with CFM56, V2500, or similar engine types
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory bodies and compliance standards
