Onsite 5 days - Rate: 21/hr
The Flex Pharmacy Technician supports both prescription verification and fulfillment operations to ensure pet medication orders are processed accurately, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. This role is responsible for reviewing prescription information, resolving discrepancies, communicating with veterinary offices and customers, and assisting pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmacy services. The technician helps maintain accurate documentation while ensuring prescriptions meet federal and state requirements before dispensing.
In addition to verification responsibilities, the Flex Pharmacy Technician prepares and packages prescriptions for shipment, manages inventory and pharmacy supplies, operates pharmacy equipment and software, and supports quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with pharmacists, customer service teams, and veterinary partners to ensure efficient workflow, medication safety, and excellent customer service. This position is based in either Miami Lakes, FL or Fishers, IN, with no travel required.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Experience in prescription verification, fulfillment, mail-order pharmacy, or high-volume pharmacy operations
- Experience in pharmacy fulfillment and either:
• prescription verification, or
• a pharmacy administrative/support role involving inbound calls, scheduling, patient coordination, or similar responsibilities
- Registered Pharmacy Technician license
