Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Staff Engineer - CAD to join the growing team of their civil engineering client. This individual should have experience working on municipal capital improvement projects. Day to day, they will be meeting with property owners, leading harmonization meetings, and sending out meeting minutes after. They will coordinate with the Transportation Engineer to create CAD drafting of harmonization plans, write 30 day letters. and get signatures on HAs packages. They also work to understand requests made by the residents, communicate them with the city, and help with plan modifications. The salary ranges from $80-100k depending on background and experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- B.S. in civil engineering or related engineering field
- 3-5+ years of experience in civil CAD drafting as it relates to capital improvement projects
- Strong understanding of permitting procedures, regulatory requirements, and administrative code
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational skills ad exceptional written and verbal communication skills
