Job Description
Insight Global is looking for two Distribution Engineer Designers for a client in the Greater Orlando Area. This is an entry level role, and the ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, with any work experience from college, and an eagerness to grow a career in the utilities/distribution industry. The candidates will be trained/developed by the team and work with a peer group for extra guidance. The candidates will:
- Receive design assignments
- Generate design (construction) prints
- Produce a materials list
- Complete paperwork to send to clients

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM field
- Coachable eager to learn and pick up on new skills
- Hardworking with an outgoing personality
- Ability to be a problem solver and aptitude to be forward-thinking
- Passion or interest in engineering design work relating to the distribution industry
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Design software experience with: BOUD/OUD, Microstation, AutoCad, Maximo, Smartsheet
- Industry experience in Distribution/Utilities
