Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an engineer to help support their customer in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for developing and designing training simulations and modeling for power outages across the area. This person will also be responsible for training operators and dispatchers on the system and response protocols for the outages. They will take them through training scenarios and simulations in order to properly assess, acknowledge, isolate and prescribe solutions to outages.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in either electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineer from an ABET accredited university.
4+ years of experience in engineering related to advanced energy management systems, distribution training simulation, energy system and renewable system operators (ESO, RSO),
Experience with SCADA vision and transmission power flows and AGC support.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
FERC 881 support and reporting dashboards.
Masters degree in electrical engineering
Professional engineering license
