Job Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, financial success, and growth of an assigned geographic region. This individual provides oversight of multiple utility construction projects from pre-construction planning through execution and closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

• Lead all operations for a utility construction region
• Manage PMs, Construction Managers, and office staff
• Own the region's P&L, revenue, and profitability
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget
• Oversee multiple substation, transmission, distribution, BESS, and utility infrastructure projects
• Monitor schedules, budgets, manpower, equipment, and project performance
• Manage project risk, expenses, and financial forecasting
• Build and maintain relationships with utility clients and industry partners
• Support business development, project pursuits, proposals, and contract reviews
• Travel throughout the region to support projects and client relationships
• Drive safety performance, including TRIR and jobsite observations

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of utility construction experience
• 5+ years in operations leadership, project management leadership, or division leadership
• Strong substation construction experience
• Experience managing multiple large utility construction projects at once
• Experience with project budgets, forecasting, and profitability
• Proven P&L ownership and financial management experience
• Experience leading Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field teams
• Contractor or EPC experience preferred
• Strong understanding of contracts, estimating, scheduling, project controls, and risk management
• Experience managing resources, equipment, vendors, and subcontractors
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships

High-voltage substation construction

Battery Energy Storage System projects

EPC and Design-Build delivery

Utility clients including investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and renewable developers
