Job Description
This person will be supporting proposal and contract execution for purchased Heat Recovery Steam Generators used in combined cycle power plants. The position involves extensive technical responsibility, including reviewing customer specifications, developing and validating HRSG technical and performance requirements, preparing purchase and scope documentation, defining and negotiating emission and thermal performance guarantees, and ensuring supplier compliance with Mitsubishi Power and customer standards. The project engineer acts as the technical subject matter expert during supplier negotiations, design reviews, and customer discussions, collaborates closely with global sourcing, project management, and overseas teams, and supports issue resolution during design, installation, and plant operation, including site visits when required. Additionally, the role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, product enhancements, and mentoring of engineers, while upholding safety, integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork standards. Up to 25% travel to client offices, domestic and Internationally. 4 days in office and 1 remote.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 years of project design and execution experience.
- Industry experience in OEMs, Power Generation, EPCs and/or Oil & Gas.
- Experience with Combined Cycle Power Plants.
- Knowledgeable with Heat Recovery Steam Generators design and components
- Knowledgeable with ASME standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Project Management software's, technical diagrams, and flow charts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code knowledge. Specifically Section 1 and B31.1
