Overview
Insight Global is supporting a client on a Mobile App Developer focused on building real-world experience across native and cross-platform mobile ecosystems.
This role provides:
• Hands-on work on production-grade mobile applications
• Exposure to modern mobile architecture + deployment pipelines
• A balance of mentorship + independent feature ownership
The position is designed for candidates looking to develop a multi-stack mobile skillset with cloud-backed application experience while contributing to strategic digital/mobile initiatives across ACG platforms
Day-to-Day
• Develop and extend mobile application features across:
○ Native platforms (iOS / Android)
○ Cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Ionic)
• Build UI components using:
○ Angular, React, HTML, CSS
• Integrate:
○ REST APIs and asynchronous workflows
• Manage:
○ Application state and data across lifecycle
• Debug:
○ Functional issues
○ Performance bottlenecks
○ Device / OS inconsistencies
• Support:
○ Build and release processes
○ Packaging, configuration, environment setup
• Work with:
○ Cloud services (AWS / GCP) for backend integration
• Participate in:
○ Code reviews and documentation
• Collaborate with:
○ Cross-functional teams to deliver working software
• Apply:
AI-assisted development practices to improve speed, quality, and maintainability
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Qualifications
• Pursuing or recently completed Computer Science / Software Engineering degree
• 1-3+ years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with:
○ At least one native mobile platform:
§ iOS (Swift / Objective-C) OR
§ Android (Kotlin / Java)
○ Cross-platform frameworks:
§ React Native
§ Ionic
○ Frontend/UI development:
§ Angular, React, HTML, CSS
○ JavaScript or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of:
○ REST APIs, HTTP, JSON
○ Component lifecycle & event-driven architecture
○ State management:
§ Redux, Context API, RxJS
• Experience with:
○ Git / version control
• Exposure to:
○ Cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
○ Authentication (OAuth, JWT)
○ CI/CD + mobile build pipelines
• Basic understanding of:
○ Mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM)
○ Testing (unit + UI testing)
• Experience applying:
AI (GenAI / agentic AI) in development workflows
Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong experience across:
○ Both native + cross-platform development
• Exposure to:
○ Advanced mobile debugging (device/OS-level issues)
○ Performance optimization for mobile apps
