Job Description
The Technical Support Gas Turbine Engineer will be expected to plan, direct, and execute procedures and technical support for construction and commissioning activities of CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) projects. The Technical Support Gas Turbine Engineer will work under the direction of the PSM Manager or Section Team Leader to coordinate activities with Mitsubishi Power Gas Turbine & Engineering Teams, Technical Field Advisors in the field, Vendors and Contractors at site.
Provide expert technical support for gas turbine construction and commissioning activities, including Reviewing, and verifying foundation work, centerline alignment, setting and leveling, and seating plate installation. Overseeing the installation of gas turbines on pedestals and their associated auxiliaries. Managing adjustments, grouting, and coupling to generators. Supervising gas turbine piping, SSS clutch, thrust bearing, lube oil, and control oil systems. Ensuring proper thermal insulation application. Initiate and maintain continuous communication with internal teams (e.g., HTC, TGO, MELCO) and external suppliers to ensure prompt resolution of technical issues. Review and revise OEM erection and commissioning procedures, and generate new procedures as needed. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned projects, acting on behalf of Project Support Management (PSM). Track daily project activities, including the review and assignment of Project Action Requests (PARs). Facilitate continuous communication with site personnel and Mitsubishi Power entities to maintain workflow continuity. Organize and attend weekly project calls to discuss progress and address technical challenges. Ensure the timely completion of the PSM Project Procedure List. Proactively communicate with Project Managers (PMs) and Project Engineers (PEs) regarding project technical aspects. He proactively maintains and track a fluid communication with PMs & PEs as Project PIC. Historical Weekly workload show between 40 to 50 hours a week.

Required Skills & Experience
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering and seven (7) years’ experience with Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines & Generators or ten (10) years’ experience in Power Plant design and/or installation/commissioning. In depth knowledge of Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, Combined Heat and Power multi shaft and single shaft configurations of Power trains and Auxiliaries. Ability, without supervision, to compile Installation/Commissioning Procedures of Power Train Equipment. Ability to resolve complex Project Action Requests and RFI's on Power Train Equipment. Expertise in specific areas and Support/assist resolution of all inquiries related to Power Train components.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineered drawings, technical procedures, supplier documentation, schedules, and material take-off. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Strong understanding of spoken and written English.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point, SharePoint, Oracle Primavera, Primavera Unifier, Adobe Professional, Bluebeam etc.

- Come form Navy background dealing with Power Generation.
