Our client is building the foundation of a platform that will revolutionize the way we look at sewage infrastructure and wastewater treatment. We have created the first distributed sewer product/service that offers a solution to nitrogen pollution and provides key advantages for end users, developers as well as utilities and municipalities. There are tens of millions of aging septic tanks in the United States that will need to be replaced soon; Our client is the first company to commercialize a superior and more cost-effective solution. We are seeking a key leader in Florida focusing on application and schedule coordination, delivery, installation, and commissioning as the Construction Inspector/Manager. This position will drive the installation of individual treatment units by managing and developing staff/crews and subcontractors, working with homeowners, and building effective client relationships.

Day to Day:
● Overall responsibilities for execution of installation (100 to 400 units annually) of treatment units for municipal (cities, counties) and homebuilders and developers within budget and time requirements.
● Works with other staff to support application and engineering for municipal replacements or permitting and engineering for developer projects. Principal coordinator with 3rd party installers, homeowners, and clients.
● Supports application process with municipal clients and developer clients. Coordinates installation schedule with homeowners on Municipal replacements and builders/developers for Distributed Wastewater Treatment Services.
● Develop subcontractors for installation services including prime installation companies, electric subcontractors, and site restoration subcontractors.
● Be a visible, outward-facing, dynamic company representative to end users and clients.
● Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of potential contractors and installation support companies.
● Provides execution leadership and transformation in the following areas:
• Works with Administrators and Project Manager staff to ensure customers are provided with the proper solutions for residential, commercial, and new development.
• Works with subcontractors and fabricators to ensure effective delivery service and elevated levels of customer satisfaction. Optimize schedule and work allotment.
• Manages warrantee repairs and issue follow-up.
• Completes, submits, and negotiates local permits associated with septic tank services.
• Uses software systems for call interfaces, quotes, scheduling, and billing.

Required Skills & Experience

● Prior experience in septic service industry with septic tank and drain field experience. Must possess valid Florida driver’s license. Role requires travel to installation sites daily in local area. Overnight travel within state for new project start-ups may also be necessary, about 40-50% overnight travel in total.
● Demonstrated knowledge and experience with skilled trades, subcontracting, and service delivery in the residential or septic services industry.
● A manager with sound analytical ability, good judgment, and an innovative nature.
● Strong diplomatic and negotiation skills. Experience handling customer, subcontractor, supplier, and client relationships.
● 3 years’ experience in onsite treatment and drain field design including soils, physical standards, industry products and approaches desired.
● Must possess or be able to obtain general contractor license and Septic Tank license within 1 year of hire.
● Familiarity with common business application software and technology.
