Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is looking for an Application Guidewire Production Support Manager. They will be leading the support, stability, and continuous improvement of Guidewire InsuranceSuite—primarily PolicyCenter, with oversight of BillingCenter and ClaimCenter. You will manage day‑to‑day production support operations, drive incident resolution, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure long‑term system reliability. The position also guides a team of analysts/engineers, coordinates with vendors, and partners with product, DevOps, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve complex issues across integrated systems.
This person will contribute hands‑on across the SDLC, including requirements analysis, Gosu development, configuration, integration work, testing, and deployment. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing Guidewire solutions, troubleshooting end‑to‑end issues, optimizing application performance, and supporting upgrades and enhancements. Participation in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives is expected.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years implementing and supporting Guidewire applications, especially PolicyCenter.
-Strong experience in Guidewire configuration, customization, integrations, and interface development.
-Proficiency with Gosu, PCFs, plug‑ins, SOAP/REST APIs, XML/JSON, workflows, and batch processes.
-Experience with PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter integrations and Guidewire Portals/Edge APIs.
-Background in Guidewire upgrades and SOAP‑based web services.
-Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and production support leadership.
-Ability to manage vendors and communicate effectively with architects and stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS environments, CI tools, and SDLC best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑performance IT environment.

- Prior leadership or management experience.
- Guidewire Cloud exposure.
