Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Transmission and Distribution Project Engineer to provide technical and engineering support to electrical, line, and generation departments of a utility company in the Keys. This would entail creating, revising, and managing various technical specifications and projects.



They will also write the corrections for the system operations within T&D and Generation (Dynamic Volt Amp Reactive turbine, generator, generation units, and substations, power transformers, breakers, and relay equipment). Technical bid specifications will be developed as well.

Required Skills & Experience

Must have Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Must have a minimum three (3+) years of relevant work experience with Electrical Engineering in Electrical Substations.

Power/Utility Industry Experience is preferred but open to other industries such as Factory.

Protection or protective relaying.

Project management experience.
