Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a practice in Jupiter, Florida. The office is within primary care and appointments can be for heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid, etc. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, patient history, social habits and family history. They also could provide medical reconciliation and accompany the Physician while the patient is being seen. The MA in this office could expect to see 20-30 patients per day. Once the MA has been trained on office procedure and physician policies, they could be trained on phlebotomy on blood draw. All procedures are done at the hospital and not at the practice. The MA should have completed MA schooling and graduated with a diploma. If they haven't passed the exam yet, they will have a 60-day grace period to pass the exam. The MA will be traveling to other JMS locations within as needed in Jupiter, Stuart or West Palm Beach.
