This leadership role oversees payroll operations across a complex healthcare organization, ensuring accurate, compliant payroll processing while optimizing payroll systems and driving operational improvements. The role partners closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field
• 10+ years of payroll experience (multi-state preferred)
• 5+ years managing payroll teams
• Deep experience with Workday Payroll and related systems
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and compliance
• Experience leading payroll transformations or system optimization
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
• Experience managing payroll operations in complex organizations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Master’s degree
• Payroll certifications (CPP, Workday Payroll certification, etc.)
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience supporting high-growth or multi-entity environments
