Insight Global is looking for a Metering Project Manager to join their team for a large-scale utility client. The Utility Scale Metering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full cycle of metering projects, ensuring accurate calibration, frequency testing, and implementation of metering schemes. This role involves cross-functional partnership, driving project results, vendor selection, contract review, and strong follow-up to ensure successful project execution.
Develop project plans, timelines, and monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Collaborate with various departments including engineering, procurement, and operations. Facilitate communication and coordination among stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. Ensure correct calibration and frequency testing of metering equipment. Develop and implement metering schemes that meet regulatory and operational standards. Identify and select vendors for metering equipment and services. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery. Maintain regular follow-up with team members and vendors to ensure project milestones are met. Address any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes. Review and manage contracts related to Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Generator Interconnection Agreements (GIAs), and Backfeed Agreements. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented.

3-5 years of full cycle Project Management experience. Management of scope, schedule, contract management and vendor selection)
Bachelors degree in Engineering (any discipline)
Experience with contract reviews with PPA (power purchase agreement), GIA (Generator Interconnection Agreement) and Backfeed agreements, Electro Service Agreements, or Meter Agent Agreements.
Experience creating cross divisional partnerships
Strong written and verbal communication
