Job Description
Our client in the Utility industry is seeking a junior–mid level Data Engineer to support data integration, analysis, and heavy automation initiatives. This role focuses on pulling data from multiple systems, performing analysis, and building complex automation platforms—with a strong emphasis on Power Apps–based user interfaces for internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automation solutions to eliminate manual, repetitive processes
- Extract data from source systems using tools such as SSIS, R, or similar ETL/integration tools
- Transform, validate, and load data into relational databases
- Perform data analysis after ingestion to support business operations and decision‑making
- Develop Power Apps as the primary user-facing interface for internal platforms
- Build and support complex internal platforms that integrate multiple data sources
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure reliable data flow and automation outcomes
Pay is dependent on experience level and match to qualifications: $35-42/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience (junior–mid level) in data engineering, automation, or similar roles
- Experience building automation solutions
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps (key requirement)
- Experience extracting and moving data between systems using ETL or integration tools
- Solid analytical skills with experience performing analysis on ingested data
- Ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL, five days per week
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Familiarity with R (used but not required)
Background in building internal platforms or tooling
