Our client, a large regional hospital in North Florida is seeking a Project Manager to manage projects under the health systems strategy org. As a strategic Project Manager you will help develop detailed project plans that support approved strategy charters. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating key project meetings with various stakeholders, and be responsible for tracking project details, including stakeholder assignments, timelines, barriers, and risks.
Detailed areas of responsibility:
- Planning: Develop detailed schedules from approved strategy charters/plans at the tactical level to ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Resource Management: Identify and allocate necessary resources to ensure project requirements are met efficiently
- Status Tracking and Reporting: Utilize systems to regularly track project status updates, ensuring all project activities are accurately documented
- Change Planning: Utilize change management tools to outline the steps required to implement changes successfully
- Minimize Disruption: Assess the impact of proposed changes in project scope through identification of potential challenges
- Enhance Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed of approved scope changes, their benefits, and how they will be implemented
- Workflow Optimization: Possess strong organizational skills to simultaneously manage and track multiple projects on the strategic operating plan
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintains all documentation, including status reports, project plans, data, decisions, with attention to detail and quality
- Scheduling and Time Management: Coordinates required meetings between stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones
