Job Description

A top biotechnology client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. This role will be a hybrid position in Norwood, MA. The Business Analyst will sit-in in the Digital organization, partnering heavily with the Technical Development and Process Development group. The BA will report to the Director of Digital Process Development and work with the Principal Business Analyst on the team. The main functions of the group are focused around developing lab data workflows for improved data integrity, analytics, and storage management. The team works on multiple systems including ELN systems (IDBS and Benchling), in-house applications, and an experiment Execution System platform.



The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements from the business, working closely with the scientists in the lab, and creating user acceptance criteria. The team is focused on revamping current lab systems and building out new systems for order samples and data storage. In addition, the BA will perform Gap Analysis, and define "future state" process workflows and data models. He/she must also develop recommendations and future state strategies. The team is looking for a BA that can help where ever needed, be a helping hand to the Principal BA, and someone who is willing to learn and grow within a company.



The BA will be joining a team of highly impressive Engineers and Business Analysts working for a company that has had a profound impact on the world.

Required Skills & Experience

* 4+ Years of product/business analysis experience in an enterprise level environment

* Strong Understanding of SDLC (Agile is preferred)

* Industry experience in pharma, biotech, medical devices, food & beverage, etc

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

* Scientific Background whether that is a degree in Biology or Chemistry

* Experience in R&D Informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN etc.

* eln, Data Integration, Biopharma Operations

* Process Development experience

* Programming experience (AWS/Angular/Redshift)

* Tableau or Spotfire
