Job Description
Insight Global is hiring for a Medical Assistant in Lakewood to work at a primary care facility treating 65+ Medicare patients. As a MA you will be responsible for providing the following responsibilities:
• Provide support to assigned provider
• Greet and escort patients during visit
• Obtain urine samples, EKGs, covid/flu/strep swabs, etc when requested
• Discuss lab results with patients
• Maintain medical documentation
• Schedule care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician request

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma/GED
• 3-5 years of MA experience
• Enjoy working with older patients (Patient Population is 65+ Medicare).
• Very detail oriented
• Experience with doing Manual dip urines, blood pressure, rapid strep testsStrong time management & administrative abilities
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Dependability, attendance
• Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below:
o Hep B, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine, Drug screen including THC required
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous Epic experience
• CMA/RMA certification strongly preferred – will need to obtain their MA once converted since it’s an MA II role
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
