Job Description
One of our large medical device manufacturing companies is seeking an Injection Molding Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for:
-Supporting development, validation, and optimization of injection molds and components in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.
-Support new product launches and troubleshoot current production challenges.
-Conduct mold validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) to meet FDA and ISO 13485 standards.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Tooling, Manufacturing) to ensure manufacturability.
-Analyze molding issues and implement corrective actions.
-Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
-2+ years of experience in injection molding process development and mold debugging.
-Knowledge of thermoplastics, mold design, and injection molding equipment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-RJG Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
-Master Molder certification or Scientific Molding training.
