One of our large medical device companies located in Jacksonville Florida is seeking a Data Scientist to support a risk remediation project for their product flow in manufacturing. This individuals primary function will be reviewing image processing of their medical device, and algorithms, coding the findings in Python and presenting the findings to inform the group what improvements need to be made to the device to help manufacturing increase efficiency. The secondary portion of this project is to touch on new images of the medical device that they are looking to IP and help with the concept.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement image processing algorithms to optimize contact lens manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
Code findings in Python and present them to inform the group on necessary improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and testing.
Assist in reviewing new contact lens images and concepts for intellectual property (IP) purposes and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
This position pays between $40-50/hour depending on experience level
