Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in the Hollandale Beach area. The Human Resources Generalist oversees all HR operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture. On a daily basis, this role manages recruitment and onboarding processes, including background checks, credentialing, and new hire documentation. This role provides guidance to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and policy interpretation, while maintaining accurate employment records and ensuring timely completion of required training. Responsibilities include administering benefits programs, monitoring regulatory changes, and updating policies such as the employee handbook. The HR Generalist also leads initiatives for workforce development, training programs, and retention strategies, prepares reports on hiring and retention metrics, and supports licensing and compliance activities. Acting as a liaison between management and staff, this role promotes engagement, resolves disputes, and ensures adherence to EEOC standards. Additional duties include managing workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, responding to employee issues, and providing leadership in policy governance and organizational performance.

Required Skills & Experience

● Minimum 2+ years providing HR support
● Strong leadership and management skills.
● In-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
● Strong knowledge of APD provider standards, AHCA regulations, HIPPA, EEOC compliance mandates, and Federal/State labor laws.
● Strategic thinking and ability to align HR with business goals.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
● Proven ability in talent acquisition, employment development, and change management.
● Experience in HR and payroll technology providers, such as Paylocity.
● Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification

Experience in healthcare or a non-profit
