Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) and high energy piping (HEP) engineer to support their client in Gibsonton, FL. This person will be responsible for interacting with equipment owners internally and planning out work and future projects to support engineering asset management. They will plan inspections and large capital equipment replacements within power plants across Florida. A successful person in this role looks at engineering and capital assets holistically in order to plan and execute on projects without impeding current projects. They need a working knowledge of HRSG - HEP systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred (can be electrical or other disciplines)
6 years of experience in mechanical system design or HRSG systems or capital planning experience.
Knowledge of power generation principles, asset management, operational and failure mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of welding and non destructive examination principles on piping.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Professional Engineering license in the state of Florida
Engineering supervisory experience
5 years of heavy industrial/power plant engineering and maintenance experience.
Masters degree in engineering or engineering management
