Job Description

Duties
Project Management:
o Manage subcontractors.
o Coordinate daily production and schedule adherence.
Meetings:
o Attend Red Zone meetings, partnering meetings, and quality control meetings.
On-Site Presence:
o Must be on-site at all times during the contract's performance until work completion and acceptance.
Safety and Compliance:
o Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements.
o Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals and their Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
o Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and other safety protocols.
Quality Control:
o Conduct daily safety and health inspections.
o Review and implement the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:
o Minimum of 10 years in construction.
o At least 5 years as a superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity.
Knowledge:
o Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements.
o Expertise in hazard identification and safety compliance.
Skills:
o Capability to interpret a critical path schedule and construction drawings.
Communication:
Certification:
o If also serving as Quality Control (QC) Manager, must meet qualifications as outlined in Section 01 45 00.05 20 DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION.
