Sr. Director of Network Engineering and Security

Our client is looking for a Sr. Director of Network Engineering and Security to join their organization. This Director role leads the engineering team and ensures the highest network performance, reliability, and security levels in a service provider environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex network infrastructures, implementing robust security measures, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. The position will report to the Vice President of Engineering. You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing network engineer and security professionals’ team and oversee the client's network infrastructure's design, implementation, and maintenance. You will ensure network scalability, reliability, and performance to support current and future service offerings and develop implement comprehensive network security policies, procedures, and protocols. This is a mixture of management and hands-on technical work. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel.

- 10+ years in a technical leadership position within a Network and Security Engineering team
- Service provider experience
- Strong expertise in network design, implementation, and management
- Extensive experience with network security frameworks, protocols, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
