Job Description

Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our hospitality technology solutions. This role involves hands-on testing of video streaming features, hotel TV integrations, digital key functionality, and network-dependent services. Youll work independently on projects, own deliverables end-to-end, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans for hospitality-focused features including:
Video 101: Streaming and playback testing
Hotel TV Integrations: Reservations, customized welcome screens, and Airplay/casting functionality
Digital Keys: Check-in/check-out workflows and mobile key access
Validate compatibility and performance on specific hardware (e.g., LG TVs)
Own QA deliverables for additional integrations and ensure timely project completion
Perform networking-related testing, especially for managed Wi-Fi environments
Document test results, report bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
Contribute to automation efforts and continuous improvement of QA processes

Pay: $45/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications
35 years of experience in software QA, preferably in consumer electronics or hospitality tech
Strong understanding of video streaming technologies and protocols
Familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, casting, Airplay, etc.)
Experience testing on hardware platforms (e.g., smart TVs, mobile devices)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and documentation skills
