Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Video QA Engineer that is responsible for contributing to the system verification of various IPTV CPE leveraging the TiVo User Interface as well as multiple 3rd Party Streaming Apps. The ideal candidate will bring with them a strong strategy for manual and automated Video Testing writing and executing test cases, logging defects and defining the overall QA strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: $42/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Duties/Responsibilities
Design & Develop test cases and test suites focusing on efficiency and maintainability strategically designed for Automation.
Execute functional, regression, integration and user acceptance tests on IPTV across multiple CPEs with a focus on Customer Experience.
Create and maintain strategic core test plans with meaningful test steps and expected results based on product requirements and User Stories
Create actionable Defects collaborating across stakeholders on priority and criticality
Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA team members to verify issue resolution and ensure end-to-end product quality
Participate and contribute in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives
Produce a consistent Daily Status Report and Sprint End Reports with meaningful KPIs
Support Deployment Testing including smoke and sanity tests during Production Releases
Validate system performance, UI/UX behavior, Accessibility, Error Handling, and Service Reliability across devices.
Leverage various QA and Agile KPIs to continuously improve the QA processes, tools, best practices and overall QA strategy
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
