On-Site Lead QA Engineer

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Wi-Fi & video lab testing, including designing, developing, and executing test cases and test suites, with a strategic focus on automation.

Pay Rate: $55/hr.

Responsibilities
Set up and maintain a Fision Home Wi-Fi and video test lab environment at Hotwire Communications Headquarters.
Configure, Calibrate and Operate Hardware and Software solutions under various testing scenarios with a focus on Customer Experience in an in-home setting.
Creatively Design a Test Lab that represents a Hotwire Home integrating Hotwire CPE with consumer iOT devices under various testing scenarios.
Facilitate manual and automation testing strategies within the Lab infrastructure optimizing testing activities.
Leverage Persona based Testing strategies representing a variety of Hotwire Customers.
Design, Develop and execute test plans for Wi-Fi routers, mesh extenders, video streaming STBs & iOT devices.
Perform exploratory testing beyond defined test methods with a focus on efficiency and risk-mitigation.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using common defect tracking tools
Create strategic core test plans encompassing functional, regression and smoke tests with meaningful test steps and expected results based on functional requirements and User Stories
Contribute automated test scripts and test methods to an automation framework reducing the need for manual execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA processes and automation strategies.
Analyze test results and provide meaningful reports on application quality and stability.
