Were seeking a motivated Grid Field Engineer to join our electrical engineering team focused on next-generation energy services. This role blends technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, supporting the installation and operation of power distribution systems across various utility partners.
As a Grid Field Engineer, youll work both in the field and in the officetraveling to customer sites to ensure smooth installations and system performance, while also analyzing data and supporting sales efforts from our Fort Lauderdale office.
Key Responsibilities
· Travel to customer sites across different states to support system installations and ensure operational success.
· Review and analyze data sets to identify potential issues within power distribution systems.
· Provide technical guidance on transformers, substations, and related infrastructure.
· Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service and training.
· Run JSAN commands and utilize general software tools to support system operations.
· Maintain safety protocols and guide field teams (no direct contact with live electrical components).
· Participate in office-based activities including data review, training, and sales calls.
Salary Range: $100k-120k

· Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
· 13 years of experience in the power industry (e.g., Duke Energy, NextEra).
· Strong understanding of power distribution systems, transformers, and substations.
· Willingness to travel (~50%) and work in both field and office environments.
