Director of Collections

A client of Insight Global is seeking a results-driven Director of Collections to lead the Government Guaranteed Collections team, ensuring that delinquent accounts are managed appropriately and in accordance with company policy and applicable SBA and USDA servicing requirements. In this role, this individual will oversee a team of high-performing collections professionals responsible for communicating with borrowers, resolving delinquencies, and increasing the percentage of successful repayments. They will have the opportunity to implement operational improvements, drive efficiencies, and scale the department as the portfolio grows. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to partner cross-functionally.

- 7+ years of progressive experience in collections
- 3–5 years in a people management role (collections teams preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business applications
- Working knowledge of the Florida FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)
- Demonstrated experience leading collections teams and driving performance against KPIs

- Strong SBA and/or USDA experience
- Prior experience in Fintech Industry
- Experience using QuickSight
