Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking to add a Project Manager to their office in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This person would be working in the field at multiple project locations to help manage General Contractors and client timelines throughout the Miami area. They will also be responsible for working alongside the sales team to help produce quality business development leads. For the beginning of this role, 50% of your time will be working with the sales team and developing business.

Other Responsibilities Include:

* Work with General Contractors and Clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives during preconstruction and construction. Lead the value engineering efforts and propose alternative solutions with the project stakeholders.
* Ensure success of the project execution through coordinating and managing schedule, delivery, and on-site subcontracted and/or direct installation teams.
* Point of contact and communicator for the project including weekly and monthly reports with progress photos. Identify issues before they happen, and find solutions to issues as they arise.
* Able to manage and balance multiple projects in parallel.
* Coordination of the activities with the GC, client, architects, engineers, designers, the factory, and subcontractors.
* Preview and prepare project proposal/plans and contracts including time frame, funding margins, and procedures and scope of work for contracts.
* Estimate installation of projects based on bid specs, with support from CBI Falkbuilt team and Falkbuilt HQ
* Ensure final superior delivery -- our problems are found and fixed by us before visible.
* Create and submit accurate Change Orders and Punch Item orders in a timely fashion
* Coordinate procurement schedules and provide takeoffs to purchasing to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials
* Assess and develop relationships with installation teams and vendors augmenting our solution

Required Skills & Experience

- Project Management or Superintendent experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Experience working on multiple projects at once. (Typically 4-6)
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Comfortable working with the Business Development team to better the pipeline of incoming projects.
- Go-getter and self-starter personality.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- PMP, CMT, or Project management certification is a plus
- Experience working on an office building, high rise or interior construction project
- Startup company experience
