Job Description
Perform trenching, backfilling, and restoration of job sites.
Heavy equipment operations (Mini-excavator, bobcat, bull dozer)
Preform QA with customer
Read, document and interpret utility maps and blueprints.
Locate existing utilities using electronic locating equipment.
Maintain equipment and ensure it is in safe working condition.
For this role, you will spend 70-80% of your time on Eglin AFB.

Required Skills & Experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of underground utility installation practices.
Construction/heavy equipment experience (Mini-excavator, bobcat, bulldozer, ditch witch)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Operate directional boring equipment (e.g., Ditch Witch) to install underground fiber, coax, 2–4-inch HDPE, Micro-duct, etc.
Experience with utility locating and potholing.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
Knowledge of fiber optic cable installation.
Experience working in telecom or utility construction.
Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) - with Air Brakes and Tanker.
