Job Description

The Sr. Manager or Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing, IT role will be responsible for sourcing related activities in connection with the cross-brand procurement of information technology related products and services including Hardware, Software, Telecommunication Services, and Professional Services. This position is responsible for working on a daily basis with technology vendors and with technology professionals from all Carnival Corporation IT departments (including the operating companies.) This individual must be able to effectively manage the sometimes competing interests of the operating companies towards a holistic solution which will benefit the organization as a whole.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of experience, or advanced degree with 5–10 years
• Proven sourcing/purchasing experience in complex, innovation-driven environments
• IT sourcing expertise (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, Hardware, Connectivity)
• Strong ability to build strategic supplier partnerships and optimize commercial terms
• Experience conducting complex analyses and delivering clear business recommendations
• Strong project management, facilitation, and senior stakeholder engagement skills
• Solid understanding of IT ecosystems, products, and technology contract best practices
Hands-on experience developing and executing sourcing strategies (e.g., 7-step methodology) and using procurement/sourcing systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPM certification or equivalent
