Job Description

• Review and prioritize vulnerabilities from GitLab, SAST/DAST scans, and penetration tests.
• Partner with developers and cybersecurity teams to drive remediation efforts.
• Lead backlog reduction initiatives and track progress to completion.
• Coordinate remediation activities with the offshore support team.
• Promote secure coding practices and embed security into the release process.
• Provide updates, risk assessments, and remediation status to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Application Security, Product Security, or DevSecOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience partnering with developers to remediate code-level security findings.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Java and/or React environments.
• Ability to communicate security risks and remediation plans to technical teams and leadership.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with GitLab security tools and vulnerability management.
• Experience with HackerOne or bug bounty programs.
• Exposure to AI-driven remediation tools (AWS Kiro or similar).
• Leadership experience.
• Experience working with offshore teams
