We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Engineer to join our clients Data Engineering team. The Lead Data Engineer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Modelers, Report Developers, BU IT, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support the company's strategic goals.
Proficient in knowledge of business systems, applications, processes and data to support data solutions
Guide and mentor Data Engineers and/or Data Analysts
Help coordinate activities, provide leadership in large projects by:
Establishing standards and providing guidance to other Data Engineers and Data Analysts
Ensures other Data Engineers and Data Analysts are following standards
Foster communication and collaboration between different departments, communicate vision and strategy for ETL tools, pipelines, performance implication of solutions to stakeholders and leadership
Provide strategic input and help set direction on data preparation and data modeling practices. Stay up to date with the latest tools and capabilities.
Subject matter expert of ETL tools, pipelines, and performance implication of solutions
Ability to design and implement highly scalable and reliable data solutions and certify the accuracy and reliability of BU data assets in an Agile environment
Optimize and fine-tune data solutions for enhanced efficiency and performance
Ability to work across and within multiple methodologies/ technologies/ business domains
The hourly rate is this contract to hire position is $60-71/hr. based on experience.
