Job Description
We are seeking a RPG Programmer with strong API and SQL experience to support and enhance applications within an IBM i (AS400) environment. This role will focus on API development and integration, enabling backend data to be consumed by mobile applications and modern platforms.
This individual will work closely with internal teams, including MuleSoft, and play a key role in delivering scalable, API-driven solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
~4+ years of experience in RPG development (ILE/Free) on IBM i (AS400)
Strong hands-on experience with API development and integration (REST/SOAP)
Heavy experience with SQL (DB2 / embedded SQL)
Experience working with or alongside integration platforms (MuleSoft)
Ability to work independently from requirements through delivery
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with Turnover (source control)
Self-starter who can take ownership of work from requirements to delivery
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting mobile-facing APIs or backend services for applications
Exposure to modernization efforts within IBM i environments
