Job Description

This role reports directly to the Manager of Construction for Renewables and supports designated Project Managers.

The individual in this position is responsible for ensuring that all critical field construction success factors are achieved. These factors include, but are not limited to, meeting project scope, adhering to schedules, controlling costs, maintaining quality standards, ensuring environmental compliance, upholding safety protocols, facilitating effective communications, managing commissioning activities, and supporting integration efforts.

Serving as the central point of coordination in the field, the Construction Specialist provides leadership, management, direction, coordination, and control throughout the execution phase of each project. All activities are conducted in alignment with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements set forth by Duke Energy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Contract management, scheduling, cost reporting, safety regulations both companies and OSHA, various codes such as ASME, ACI, NEC, ANSI.
• 10+ years field construction and oversight experience.
