Job Description
Insight Global's client has several distribution centers across the US and have opened a new center in the Boca Raton, FL area. The candidate for this role will be responsible for assisting in getting this site up and running. They will receive a month+ of training and will have one direct report with the potential to continue growing out this team. On a day to day basis this person will be responsible for shipping and receiving orders, partnering with other distribution centers, keeping track of inventory, communicating with their customer service centers, reporting, and oversight of their direct report as well as the facility as a whole. This is a salaried position with an annual bonus based off both company and individual performance as well as benefits (split with employer), sick time, and PTO. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience within a warehouse/ shipping & receiving position
- Experience picking and packing orders, loading and unloading, doing associated paperwork
- Cutting and nailing wood together, lifting 25lbs, and use a forklift
- Experience mentoring or leading others
- Go getter personality, willing to be very involved and helping them in ramping up this location
- Solid communication skills and experienced with communicating with customers
- Tech savvy to pick up on systems
- Comfortable with change and adaptable
- Forklift certified
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience as a one person operation
- Experience working with fragile items or particularly large items
- Analytical minded
- Experience managing other team members
-Experience with Sage300 and swift count scanning system
- Bilingual in Spanish
