Job Description
A client of Insight Global in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Contract Tax Preparer to support tax season operations from February through April. This is a 3‑month, on‑site role assisting with the preparation of primarily individual tax returns, with some exposure to trusts and business returns depending on experience.
The Tax Preparer will focus on high‑volume tax preparation during peak season, collaborating in a casual, fast‑paced office environment. This role will ramp from part‑time hours initially to full‑time (40+ hours/week) as the tax season progresses.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience preparing individual tax returns (Form 1040)
Hands‑on experience with:
Schedules C and E
K‑1s and W‑2s
Some trust returns
Strong data entry and tax preparation skills with the ability to manage high‑volume workloads (company averages ~1,200 returns per season)
Comfortable working on‑site 5 days a week in Boca Raton, FL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
UltraTax software
Exposure to business tax filings (primarily inputting payroll and business data)
QuickBooks
CPA not required
