Job Description

This is a part-time consultant role. 20 hours a week max! We are looking for a UI/UX designer who has out of the box, problem solving abilities. The ideal candidate is someone who is strong proficiency in Figma, and a proven ability to work independently and proactively. The ideal candidate will maintain and enhance design systems, apply mobile-first and responsive design best practices, and collaborate within Agile teams. They will help various business teams and need to have the flexibility to be fluid.

Pay will vary depending on experience - $10-20/hour

Required Skills & Experience

PART TIME INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT ROLE - 20 hours a week max!

3+ years of experience in Product or UI Design
Independent, proactive, and detail-orientedasks smart questions and solves problems without needing constant direction
Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, prototyping, and responsive design techniques
abstraction of understanding requirements and Figma/wireframe
Experienced in using and maintaining design systems and UI kits, with an understanding of scalability, consistency, and reuse
Comfortable working with design tokens, Figma variables, spacing, and typography within established systems
Applies mobile-first and responsive design best practices
Familiar with UX principles, usability heuristics, and WCAG accessibility guidelines
Experience working within Agile product teams and using tools like JIRA and Confluence
A portfolio or work samples that showcase clean interaction flows, polished visuals, and thoughtful implementation.
