Job Description

Were a growing small business passionate about delivering exceptional service and building a strong, supportive team. As we scale, were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to take ownership of our financial operations and help us make informed, strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
Coordinate with external CPA for tax filings and audits
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a small business or entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPA or working toward certification is a plus
