Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer to sit at the Pentagon. This individual will join a highly visible engineering team supporting mission-critical infrastructure modernization efforts within a secure environment. The engineer will play a key role in large-scale virtualization initiatives, server deployments, disaster recovery planning, and enterprise infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate will have deep VMware expertise, strong Windows Server administration skills, and experience executing Hyper-V to VMware migrations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on infrastructure engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, driving projects independently, and supporting technology that directly impacts critical national-level operations.
Compensation:
$45/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Strong VMware/vSphere administration and engineering experience
Experience migrating virtual machines from Hyper-V to Vmware
Linux administration experience (Red Hat/CentOS)
Dell server deployment and administration experience
Hands-on server build, deployment, and configuration experience
Infrastructure engineering experience
