Top Secret Journeyman Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician will be a travel position and is responsible for performing all service functions on electrical components and systems such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment. This will be across multiple facilities, throughout the Arlington/D.C. area. There are two sites outside the DC area as North as Baltimore or as South as Richmond. This position will pay a flat rate of $43/hour plus health and wellness pay of $4.93/hour. This position will also provide a company truck as well as a gas card.

Essential Job Functions:
 Works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications
 Locates and diagnoses trouble in the electrical system or equipment
 Solves standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment using a variety of electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
